Paul Cunniff, Director (Head of CHR)
Paul has been a director in the Outsourcing Business Unit since its inception and has built a team offering a variety of services including; outsourced payroll, outsourced book keeping, management accounts, budgets & business plans, strategic advice and general commercial advice. Paul has specific experience of implementing back office and accountancy systems to enable directors to understand the performance of the business. He acts as a sounding board and in some instances as a Quasi-Finance Director to assist clients can interpret and utilise management information.
Paul has been in the profession for over 10 years. He has held industry positions with Plcs and large corporate organisations. Prior to joining Cowgill Holloway in 2004, Paul was responsible for building the finance function within a leading IT and telecoms retailer. His work here underpinned the later sale of the business to BT.
Paul is a qualified management accountant and has worked for clients across a wide variety of business sectors.

Jason Garside, (Client Services Manager)
Jason joined the CHR Team in July 2009. He is a senior member of the CHR Team and is responsible for preparing and reviewing management accounts and providing further key financial information to clients in the form of financial forecasts and projections and commercial advice. Jason is often the first point of contact with clients and has developed strong relationships with his existing client base.
Jason has 18 years experience and has worked within the main practice of Cowgill Holloway since 1995. During the majority of that time, Jason was responsible for the preparation of management and year end accounts on a portfolio of clients and more recently was appointed manager to one of the audit partners before joining the CHR team.

Wendy Hunter (CHR Payroll Manager)
Wendy has worked within the payroll sector for over 20 years, all of which has been spent in the payroll bureau environment. Wendy has been a member of our team for 5 years, dealing with high volume processing and reporting within the CHR Payroll department.
Wendy is a full member of the Institute of Payroll Professionals having gained The National Qualification. Wendy manages a team who are dedicated to delivering client-focused solutions.

Stuart Stead, Director
Stuart has been involved in audit, business planning and strategy and commercial advisory relating to the property and hospitality sectors for over 15 years. He became an audit and business advice partner of Cowgill Holloway LLP in 2005, and has subsequently built the hospitality advisory unit into a multi-disciplinary team offering a range of services tailored to the individual needs of the industry.
Stuart has held advisory roles with hotel groups assisting with their operational costs and profitability levels and making key recommendations to the board for future improvements.
Stuart is a Chartered Accountant, member of the British Association of Hospitality Accountants and former North West Young Accountant of the Year.

Howard Field, CHR Hospitality Specialist
Howard has more than 40 years working within the hospitality sector at unit, divisional and corporate levels, principally in financial management functions. Included four and five star UK and international hotel companies – including Royal Garden and Carlton Tower hotels, Holiday Inn Europe, and the Savoy Group. Also provides business advise on owner/operator relationships, management contracts, hotel accounting standards and business strategy.
Howard is an Oxford Brookes University Visiting Fellow, guest lecturer and mentor. Howard is also a supporter of hospitality sector charities; ex-director and Life Patron of Springboard, and Guardian Member of Hospitality Action.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, the British
Association of Hospitality Accountants and is an Honorary Fellow of Hotel Controllers & Accountants Association (Hong Kong).
